Shee’k Dance Studio has been proudly established since 2010 in the heart of Port Melbourne and now opening a new location in Seddon, offering a welcoming and inclusive space for dancers of all ages and abilities. From preschoolers taking their very first creative steps through to adults continuing or beginning their dance journey, our classes are designed for everyone to enjoy moving, learning, and growing together.

We offer a wide range of styles including Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Breakdancing, Classical Ballet, and Creative Dance for our youngest students. Our focus is on nurturing each dancer’s confidence, creativity, self-development, and technical skills in a positive and supportive environment.

We are deeply committed to our local community and pride ourselves on providing a non-competitive space where every dancer is valued and encouraged, regardless of age or experience.

Our teaching team consists of fully trained, industry-active professionals who bring current experience from the dance world into the studio. They are passionate about sharing their knowledge, inspiring every generation, and fostering a genuine love of dance.

Sheryn Amato is an accomplished Australian performer, choreographer, and dance professional with extensive experience across stage, television, corporate entertainment, and international touring productions.

Her career has included performing alongside Todd Mckenney, Irene Cara  as well as a professional dancer for Australia’s Got Talent, Channel 9’s Starstruck as a regular dancer & regular performer at Melbourne’s Crown Casino. Internationally, Sheryn has performed in Tokyo (Japan), Macau (China), Mongolia, New Zealand, Singapore, and on cruise ships worldwide, delivering high-energy entertainment for global audiences.

Throughout her professional performance career, Sheryn has always had a deep love of teaching and is passionate about sharing her extensive experience, knowledge, and lifelong love of dance. She is dedicated to inspiring students to grow in confidence, expression and stage presence while fostering a genuine passion for music and dance.

Trained extensively in jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, tap, partnering, and Cuban salsa, Sheryn trained full time and performed as a dancer for over 20 years.
